{Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

This week I am thankful for:

  • My two tots being very excited about going to preschool, and grateful that it gives me two days during the week to work child free.
  • Plenty of berries to be found.
  • Fresh eggs, I still feel so excited when we go get our eggs every day.
  • Getting a chance to work on my bedroom, (my areas are usually the last that I get to) it is feeling very fresh and cozy.
  •  A nice visit with my Father in-law & brother in-law.
  • Some quality time with my nephew.
  • Misty mornings and sunny afternoons.
  • Feeling productive.
  • Friends.
  • Family diners.
  • Tea party's.
  • Toddler joys and listening to what they are thankful for.  Rowan always mentions that she is thankful for all the holidays, and is already planning for Halloween.
  • Doing crafts with my girls.
  • My favorite thing to be thankful for is feeling loved.  My husband is so sweet to me, and my girls have been extra cuddly lately.

{Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

This week I am grateful for:

  • A week for my little girls and I to spend with just each other.  Daddy was back at work this week preparing for the school year so I took most of the week off to be with Ro & Zo, it was blissful.  We decompressed, played, gardened and prepared for our own school year.
  •  Two happy girls this morning, waiting at the door at 7 am, ready for school! (Never mind that school doesn't start till 8:30).  I am glad they are excited, especially since it's Zoey's first day.
  • The quiet moments, when I remember to soak it all in.
  • Pippi's, busy days and new inventory! I think I say it a lot but, man I love fall socks, scarves, hats, tights, leggings, colors, all of it.  I have to stop myself from taking home everything!!!
  • Employees that are like family to me, I couldn't wish for more lovely, dedicated people.  (Fun fact, both Pippsters Nicole and Rachael were friends with my little sister growing up, so I have known them a very long time.  And, Nicole has been at Pippi's for six years now).
  • Nesting time.  I always feel super driven at the end of summer and beginning of fall to make my home cozy, so I have been sorting through stuff, organizing and beautifying.
  • Fresh eggs.
  • My great neighbor, who brought us apples from her yard, she inspires me to try to be a better (more neighborly) neighbor.

{Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

This week I am thankful for:
  • A week away, unplugged, with my family by the river.  Always my favorite week of the year.
  • My sister, I love spending time with her and we had a week away from the world so that was good.
  • Being able to be close to my parents, I treasure spending time with them and love watching my girls spend time with them.
  •  My garden time.
  • Fresh eggs, I love having chickens!
  • My sweet little girls.
  • Being so close to a life without diapers!!!
  • My husband being inspired and dedicated, I love reading his stories and he is writing almost every day.
  • Summer fruit.
  • Blackberry picking in the alley, and blackberry cobbler, yummm.
  • Family time.
  • Pippi's time, and the beginning of our fall orders arriving at the shop.  fall socks are my favorite!
  • For catching up with a dear friend.
What are you thankful for this week?
